Meat & Climate Change

Livestock production is responsible for a huge proportion of our global greenhouse gas emissions. It's not just the farts and burps. Land use change, feed crop farming, transportation, refrigeration and processing all make meat rather carbon intensive.

Not all meat is the same. Different animals and different farming methods have different impacts.  However, growing global demand for meat means that the worst kinds of animal production are expanding fast.

To stop climate chaos we need to reduce the quantity and increase the quality of meat we buy.
